1 Day Random Pattern Damascus Class

550 US dollars
Location 1

Class Description

This one day class will focus on the fundamentals of making pattern welded damascus steel in a gas forge and is intended for smiths who have their own set up and are interested in getting further into the craft. Students will spend the day prepping, welding, and restacking a relatively high layer random pattern billet that can be taken home to make their own knives out of, or brought back for the 2 day chef's knife class. The billet will be big enough for 2-3 medium sized knives. Price includes all materials. Railroad Spike classes run twice per week and can be scheduled through the calendar. All other classes can be scheduled by request in the contact us form.
